Pinch, punch, first of the month

Hello,

My first week of my 10K training was great. I managed, 1 indoor run, 2 outdoor runs and to stick to my plan 🙂

The second week is not going so well. I have a large, uncomfortable blister on my toe so I decided to let the blister heal before trying to carry on my running plan. I know I need to buy new trainers but I can’t afford them this month *sigh*

In other news, I lost another 1lb at weigh in this week bringing my total to 2 1/2 stone. Very pleased and proud as it’s the lowest weight ever as an adult. I also finally fit into my size 10 jeans, am an S on top AND bought some new snowboarding trousers in an S. I’ve never been a Small anything, but I’m happy & proud to say I am now.

I am starting to get the ‘stop losing weight’ ‘you’re looking a bit thin’ comments now. Erm, I’m actually still over-weight & will not be stopping losing weight until I am at least 7lbs below the maximum weight I ‘should’ be for my height. I don’t know why people think it’s ok to try to tell me not to lose anymore weight, they didn’t comment when I was over-weight so I’m not interested in their opinion now.

I don’t want to leave on a grumpy note, so I’ll leave you with a line from a song that’s been in my head for a few days…

“If you don’t reach for the moon, you can’t fall on the stars”
